Community Plate, together with Cultivating Community, invites you to join us at Wolfe’s Neck Center for Agriculture and the Environment in Freeport for a special evening of connection through the sharing of food, stories, and recipes. Our theme for this evening is appropriately “Cultivating Community.” We’ll be celebrating the many different ways we build community through the foods we sow, harvest, prepare, and eat. Crossing cultures and uniting generations, food provides a powerful shared experience. Growing together, cooking together, and sitting down at the table together bring us closer to the land and nurture our relationships. Together, we’ll share stories of personal growth, agricultural life, and the pleasures and challenges of cultivating a vibrant community.
