Community Plate, together with City Theater invites you to join us in Biddeford for a special evening of connection through the sharing of food, stories, and recipes. Our theme for the evening is “Dinner and a Show!” Because of the venue—an historic theater!—the format for this supper will be slightly different from our regular Story Sharing Potluck Suppers. The evening will feature a series of storytellers, reading and telling short stories about the food they've brought to share, while attendees eat our meals in the auditorium seating. Following the main course and entertainment, we’ll mingle over dessert and do some casual story sharing. Prior to the supper, you will receive a series of story prompts that we will use to share stories during dessert. If you would like to be one of our readers or tellers, and share the (2-4 minute, approx 250-500 words) story of the dish you will be bringing to the supper, please let us know!
