The Corner: A Monthly Evening of Community Storytelling

  • LA Arts 168 Lisbon Street Lewiston, ME, 04240 United States (map)

Community Plate invites you to come to The Corner, a free monthly evening of community storytelling held the second Thursday of each month, 7-9pm, at LA Arts in Lewiston.

MAY THEME: TO BE ANNOUNCED! Come to the Corner in April and help us choose the next month’s theme!

New to The Corner this year: Bring a dessert to share! In addition to pizza from DaVinci’s, we’ve added a DESSERT POTLUCK! Bring something sweet to share with your fellow storytellers and story listeners.

Each evening of The Corner includes several featured storytellers, who volunteer in advance, and because everyone has a story to tell, an open mic portion, where there is the opportunity for anyone to get up and tell a story. If you would like to be one of our featured storytellers for May send us an email at community@communityplate.me

Stories should be five minutes (or less), first person, fundamentally factual, and free of handheld notes. For more information about how to tell a story at The Corner, visit: https://www.cometothecorner.com/tell

The Corner is a free community event. No tickets or reservations required.
